Bellaire grad Evans contributes to Houston Baptist University victory
Bellaire High School graduate Jonathan Evans played for Houston Baptist University in a 73-63 win at home against conference rival Utah Valley University on Saturday, Feb. 23, Houston Baptist University's website reported.
The junior guard helped the Huskies improve to 11-14 on the season and 3-3 in the Great West Conference.
Houston Baptist's next game is at 7:05 p.m. Monday, Feb. 25 at home against the University of New Orleans.
Evans is a junior guard for Houston Baptist University.
He is a 2010 graduate of Bellaire High School, where he was a three-time all-district selection for coach Bruce Glover.
The Houston native and business management major is the son of Edward and Monica Evans.
