Bellaire grad Anyigbo contributes to Western Kentucky victory
Bellaire High School graduate Kene Anyigbo contributed four points to Western Kentucky University's 88-77 win over conference rival the University of Louisiana on Saturday, Feb. 23, Western Kentucky University's website reported.
The junior forward also recorded six rebounds, four assists and one steal for Western Kentucky University, which improved to 15-14 on the season and 9-9 in the Sun Belt Conference.
Western Kentucky University's next game is at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28 at home against the University of South Alabama.
Anyigbo played at Bellaire High School from 2006-2010. ESPN rated him the 82nd-best power forward prospect in the nation.
He also was named to the All-Region Second-Team.
