Three Brothers Bakery honored with Star Award

The recently-relocated Three Brothers Bakery received the Star Award from the Houston West Chamber of Commerce, it was recently announced.
The honor was bestowed on the business at the 15th annual Development Summit and Star Awards luncheon held Friday, Feb. 8 at the Omni Houston Westside Hotel, according to a chamber press release.
The award was given in the category of Newly Opened or Newly Relocated Businesses in the West Houston area.
Three Brothers Bakery began in Poland in the 1800s and brought the family business to Houston in 2012.
The bakery's fifth generation, now operating the business, specializes in Eastern European scratch baking and produces, breads, pastries, cookies, dessert cakes and custom cakes.
The company is known for its philanthropy by supporting area charities, including Easter Seals Camp Buckaroo, Congregation Beth Yeshurun and the Faulk Foundation. Day-old products are given to various homeless programs.
The bakery has locations in Braeswood, at 4036 S. Braeswood Blvd., and Houston at 12393 Kingsride Lane.
