49 Bellaire runners complete Chevron Houston Marathon
Forty-nine Bellaire athletes completed the Chevron Houston Marathon on Sunday, Jan. 13 in Houston.

Race organizers said 6,676 runners finished the 26.2-mile race, which began at Minute Maid Park and ended at George R. Brown Convention Center.
Bazu Worku, of Ethiopia, was the men's overall winner with a finishing time of 2:10:17, while Merima Mohammed, also of Ethiopia, was the winner in the women's category with a time of 2:23:37.
