Central Market to offer sushi cooking school, wine workshop
Registration is under way for a Wednesday, Feb. 6 sushi class and a Monday, Feb. 4 wine workshop at the Central Market Cooking School.
According to Central Market Cooking School, the sushi class menu includes miso soup, spicy tuna roll, nigiri over a ball of rice, char-rific sashimi appetizer and lover's heart served with ginger aioli sauce.
The instructor is Chris Nemoto, the sushi chef at Zushi Japanese Cuisine.
Class will be held at 6:30-9 p.m. Cost is $65.
The wine workshop will begin at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 4. Cost is $10 per person and attendees must be age 21 or older.
The Central Market Cooking School is located at 3815 Westheimer Road, Houston.
