Soccer star to kick it up offensively
A: Lionel Messi. He’s definitely a player I love watching, just an amazing player. I’ve actually tried to get my team to think a little bit more like Barcelona does this year and try to use their passing style more than how we originally played.
Q: Who inspires you the most?
A: My dad. He was my soccer coach for many years from when I was really young until I was in high school. That was really the reason why I first started loving playing soccer. He always emphasized how we need to make sure we’re having fun and that it’s not all about winning.
Q: What are your goals for this season?
A: I want to be more of an attacking player on the field, and I want to try to score some more goals than I have in past seasons. But I also just want our team to succeed. By being the best player I can be, I know that will help my team succeed.
