Armonia Celeste vocal ensemble concert set for Feb. 12
Armonia Celeste will perform "Udite Amanti Lovers Beware!" on Tuesday, Feb. 12 at Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church.
The show begins at 7:30 p.m. A pre-concert talk with ensemble members begins at 6:45 p.m.
According to an announcement from Houston Early Music, the concert will feature rarely heard music from the Italian Renaissance and early Baroque eras. Armonia Celeste is an ensemble of three female singers, Rebecca Beasley, Dianna Grabowski and Sarah Griffiths, accompanied by Lyle Nordstrom on lute, theorbo and Baroque guitar, along with Paula Fagerberg, who plays a modern copy of the Barberini triple harp from 1635.
Tickets are $35, $30 for seniors, $10 for students and free for children younger than 15.
Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church is at 6221 Main St., Houston.
