Haven to host cooking classes

Registration is under way for cooking classes at the Haven with Chef Randy Evans.

Three classes will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, Sunday, Feb. 10, and Sunday, March 24.

According to a press release, the first class on Sunday, Jan. 27 is called Soup or Bowl and will feature a three-course winter meal. The Sunday, Feb. 10 class will have a Mardi Gras theme, and the final class on Sunday, March 24 will focus on springtime, Texas meals.

Classes are $60 for each session and are informal. Students will get a step-by-step lesson and dine on the meal they've cooked.

The Haven is located at 2502 Algerian Way, Houston.
