Bellaire grad Anyigbo plays in Western Kentucky loss
Bellaire High School graduate Kene Anyigbo contributed three points in Western Kentucky's 75-61 loss to conference rival Arkansas State on Saturday, Jan. 5, the school's website reported.
The junior forward also recorded two rebounds for Western Kentucky University, which is 10-7 on the season and 4-2 in the Sun Belt Conference.
Western Kentucky's next game is at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12 at home against Florida Atlantic.
Anyigbo played at Bellaire High School from 2006-2010.
ESPN rated him the 82nd best power forward prospect in the nation. He also was named to the All-Region Second-Team.
