Bellaire grad Davis plays in Stephen F. Austin State loss
Houston native Annette Davis contributed four points in Stephen F. Austin State's 74-57 home loss to conference rival McNeese State on Saturday, Jan. 5 in Nacogdoches, Texas, Stephen F. Austin State's website reported.
The junior forward also recorded four rebounds and two assists for the Lumberjacks, who are 5-8 on the season and 0-2 in the Southland Conference.
Stephen F. Austin State's next game is at 6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 7 on the road against Texas A&M Corpus Christi.
She is a 2009 graduate of Bellaire High School, where she earned four letters in basketball playing for coach Michael Kramer. She scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds per game to go along with four assists and six blocks.
Davis spent two years at Kansas, where she scored one point and grabbed one rebound per game before transferring to Stephen F. Austin.
She is the daughter of Antonio Davis and Dietra Young.
