Bellaire grad Davis records 6 points in Stephen F. Austin State loss to Lamar
Annete Davis, a graduate of Bellaire High School, is a junior forward on the Stephen F. Austin State University women's basketball team.
Bellaire High School graduate Annette Davis contributed six points in Stephen F. Austin State's 65-50 home loss to Lamar on Thursday, Jan. 3 in Nacogdoches, Stephen F. Austin State's website reported.
The Stephen F. Austin State University junior forward also recorded six rebounds for the Lumberjacks, who are 5-7 on the season.
Stephen F. Austin State's next game is 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 at home against Mcneese State.
Davis is a redshirt junior forward for Stephen F. Austin State University. She is a 2009 graduate of Bellaire High School, where she earned four letters in basketball playing for Michael Kramer. She scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds per game to go along with four assists and six blocks. She spent two years at Kansas, where she scored one point and grabbed one rebound per game before transferring to Stephen F. Austin. Davis is from Houston and is the daughter of Antonio Davis and Dietra Young.
