Bellaire grad Hartman helps in Oklahoma victory
Bellaire High School graduate Jasmine Hartman played for Oklahoma in its 71-68 win at home over conference rival West Virginia Wednesday, Jan. 2 at, Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, the Oklahoma website reported.
Hartman recorded two rebounds, two assists and a steal for the Sooners, who improved to 11-2 on the season and 1-0 in the Big 12.
Oklahoma's next game is at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5 at University of Texas at Austin.
Hartman, a 5-foot-10 redshirt senior guard for the University of Oklahoma, is a 2008 graduate of Bellaire High School. She was named the District 20-5A Most Valuable Player her senior year in high school and also earned first team all-state honors. She was rated the nation's No. 12 point guard in the class of 2008 by SLAM Magazine. The Houston native is the daughter of Jessica Horton and Julius Addison.
