Bellaire grad Omotola contributes to Liberty victory
Bellaire High School graduate Tolu Omotola contributed 24 points in Liberty's 90-57 win over conference rival Winthrop on Saturday, Dec. 29 at Winthrop Coliseum in Rock Hill, S.C., Liberty's website reported.
The Liberty University senior center and forward also recorded 12 rebounds, one assist and one steal for the Flames, who improved to 10-4 on the season and 2-0 in conference.
Omotola is a redshirt senior center and forward for Liberty University. A 2008 graduate of Bellaire High School, the Houston native spent one year at TCU where she scored a career-high eight points and grabbed one rebound against Texas-Arlington, before transferring to Liberty University. The psychology major is the daughter of Abel and Lola Omotola.
