About McGilbra: McGilbra, a 5-foot-8 junior for Texas State University, is a 2009 graduate of Bellaire High School. She was named the MVP at the District 20-5A Tournament and also earned All-Greater Houston honors from the Houston Chronicle during high school. She played a year at Boise State University where she played 30 games as a freshman before transferring. The Houston native is the daughter of Don and Monique McGilbra and is a sociology major.
