Friendswood grad Neuman plays in Mississippi College loss
Friendswood High School graduate Connor Neuman played for Mississippi College in its 76-64 loss to conference opponent Hardin-Simmons Monday, Dec. 17, at Mabee Complex in Abilene, according to Mississippi College's website.
The sophomore guard and the Choctaws are 4-4 on the season, and 2-3 in the American Southwest Conference. Mississippi College's next game is 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22 against Hope.
Neuman played for coach Darren Chandler in 2006-2010 at Friendswood High School, where he holds the school record for most three-pointers made in a career. He was also Second Team All-District as both a junior (2008-2009) and senior (2009-2010). He is the son of Steve and Beverly Neuman.
