Weekly property sales roundup for Willis, week ending Nov. 11

There were eight property sales in Willis for the week ending Sunday, Nov. 11, according to Blockshopper.com.

One notable transaction in the area was the sale of 14229 Burnt. William Sandy and Cynthia Sandy sold the home to Dave Allen and Gwen Allen on Friday, Nov. 9. The 1,728-square-foot, one-bath home was built in 1962 and is located in the Cape Malibu subdivision.

Other transactions include the sale of 14250 E. Ravine Run to Lavinia Sue Westbrook and Milton A. Westbrook and the sale of 13149 Bluff View Drive to James C. Waterbury and Loretta D. Waterbury.

Sales volume was 33.3 percent lower than the previous week and 60 percent higher than the same week in 2011. Willis has averaged seven sales per week during the last 12 months.
