Bellaire grad Anyigbo helps in win by Western Kentucky
Bellaire High School graduate Kene Anyigbo contributed five points in Western Kentucky University's 74-46 homecourt win over Brescia University Saturday, Nov. 24 at E.A. Diddle Arena in Bowling Green, according to Western Kentucky's website.
The Western Kentucky junior forward also recorded four rebounds, one steal and a block for the Hilltoppers, who improved to 4-2 on the season.
Western Kentucky University's next game is 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29 on the road against ULM.
Anyigbo played at Bellaire High School in 2006-2010. ESPN rated him 82nd-best power forward prospect in the nation. He was named to the All-Region Second-Team.
