Bellaire grad Omotola plays in Liberty loss
Bellaire High School graduate Tolu Omotola scored four points as Liberty University dropped a 92-60 decision to Baylor Friday, Nov. 23 at Ferrell Center in Waco, according to the Liberty website.
Omotola also recorded five rebounds and an assist for the Lady Flames, who are 2-3 on the season.
Liberty's next game is 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27 at home against North Carolina.
Omotola is a redshirt senior center and forward for Liberty University. A 2008 graduate of Bellaire High School, the Houston native spent one year at TCU where she scored a career-high eight points and one rebound against Texas-Arlington, before transferring to Liberty. The psychology major is the daughter of Abel and Lola Omotola.
