Bellaire grad plays in Stephen F. Austin State University loss
Bellaire High School graduate Annette Davis played in Stephen F. Austin State University's 75-64 loss to California State Polytechnic University on Friday, Nov. 23 in women's college basketball action.
According to Stephen F. Austin State University's website, Davis, a junior forward for the Ladyjacks, recorded 1 point, 1 rebound and 1 assist for the Ladyjacks. With the loss, the Ladyjacks slipped to 3-2 on the season.
Stephen F. Austin State University's next game is at 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 on the road against California State University Bakersfield.
Davis is a 2009 graduate of Bellaire High School, where she earned four letters in basketball playing for Michael Kramer. She scored 22 points and grabbed 11 rebounds per game to go along with 4 assists and 6 blocks. She spent two years at Kansas University, where she scored 1 point and grabbed 1 rebound per game before transferring to Stephen F. Austin. Davis is from Houston and is the daughter of Antonio Davis and Dietra Young.
