Bellaire grad contributes in Western Kentucky University victory
Bellaire High School graduate Kene Anyigbo contributed in Western Kentucky University's 70-61 win over DePaul on Nov. 21 in college basketball action.
According to Western Kentucky University's website, Anyigbo, a junior forward for Western Kentucky University, recorded 1 assist for the Hilltoppers. With the win, the team improved to 3-2 on the season.
The game took place at Moon Palace Resort in Cancun, Mexico.
Western Kentucky University's next game is at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 24 at home against Brescia.
Anyigbo played at Bellaire High School in 2006-2010. ESPN rated him the 82nd-best power forward prospect in the nation.
