Houston-Galveston Area Council chooses members, alternates
The Houston-Galveston Area Council announced that representatives from general law cities met on Thursday, Nov. 8 and chose four members for the H-GAC Board of Directors to serve as members or alternates.
According to a press release issued by the board, "City of Meadows Place Alderman Terry Henley was elected to serve as a board member, marking his 20th term representing general law cities. City of Iowa Colony Councilwoman Kay Mudd was also elected to serve as a board member representing general law cities. Alternates elected were City of Oak Ridge North Mayor James Kuykendall and City of Oyster Creek Alderman Eddie Venne."
