ATHLETE OF THE WEEK: Sarah Friedman
Q: Who is your favorite athlete?
A: My favorite is athlete is Misty May. She’s a really great volleyball player, and she always has a really great attitude when she plays.
Q: Do you plan on playing volleyball in college?
A: I want to play in college, hopefully on scholarship. I’ve been contacted by Utah State, Coastal Carolina, Texas Tech and Iowa.
Q: Who is your greatest inspiration?
A: My mom is my biggest inspiration, both on the court and off the court. She always inspires me to be a better person and try my hardest and have the best attitude when I do things.
Q: Do you have any pre-game rituals?
A: I have to wear the same kneepads, and I have to make sure I have the same headband on. I always stretch by myself.
