The following arrests were reported by local authorities for the period of Thursday, Nov. 8 to Saturday, Nov. 10:

A Houston woman was arrested and charged with possession of less than one gram of a penalty group 1 controlled substance on Thursday, Nov. 8, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The woman, 22, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Friday, Nov. 9 and is facing a state felony charge. She resides in West Bellfort.

A Houston man is facing class C misdemeanor charges of failure to maintain financial responsibility by obtaining insurance, expired inspection certificate and driving with expired registration after being arrested on Friday, Nov. 9, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 56, resides in Ashbrook. He was booked on Friday, Nov. 9.

A Houston man is facing a state felony charge of theft under $1,500, third offense, after being arrested on Friday, Nov. 9, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 30, resides in West Bellfort. He was booked on Saturday, Nov. 10.

A Houston man was arrested on charges of theft between $50 and $500 on Friday, Nov. 9, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 27, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Saturday, Nov. 10 and is facing a class B misdemeanor charge. He resides in Glenmeadow.

A Houston man was arrested on charges of driving while intoxicated with a blood alcohol content more than .15 on Saturday, Nov. 10, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 51, was booked at the Harris County Jail on Saturday, Nov. 10 and is facing a class A misdemeanor charge. He resides in Camino Del Rey.
