Southwest Middle School and High School moves to new campus
Southwest Middle School and High School moved to a new campus for the start of the school year.
Southwest Schools, a Texas open enrollment charter school, recently moved its Southwest Middle School and High School from its former Southwest Freeway location to a re-purposed building at 6400 Westpark near Hillcroft. The facility features larger classrooms and a new performing arts space.
"It's truly rewarding to see the students react to the new space," said Principal of Southwest Middle School and High School Rosalinda Mercado-Garza in a school press release. "All of the kids are genuinely excited and grateful to be here. At Southwest Schools, we hope this new campus will allow even more area students to take advantage of our unique, high-quality learning experience."
Southwest Middle School and High School is at 6400 Westpark, Suite 200, in Houston.
