Lunch menu for Houston ISD Elementary Schools, Sept. 24-28
The Houston Independent School District Elementary School lunch menu for the week of Sept. 24 is as follows:
Monday, Sept. 24 – Chili with roll, chicken nuggets, steamed carrots, spinach and a fresh apple
Tuesday, Sept. 25 – Sloppy Joe, whole grain hamburger, peas, baked fries and sliced peaches
Wednesday, Sept. 26 – Beef soft taco, whole grain beef taco nachos, fresh baby carrots, refried beans and mixed fruit
Thursday, Sept. 27 – Cheese pizza, whole grain pasta with meat sauce, green beans, peas and carrots and home style applesauce
Friday, Sept. 28 – Barbecue chicken with roll, chicken fried steak fingers, mashed potatoes, cucumber slices and apricot halves
