Bellaire girls volleyball set to play Carnegie Vanguard Sept. 12
The Houston Bellaire High School girls volleyball team will be aiming for its third district win of the season when it hosts Houston Carnegie Vanguard Wednesday, Sept. 12 in a 4:30 p.m. match.
The Cardinals knocked off Houston Madison in their last match, winning 25-5, 25-15 and 25-7 Sept. 7. They are now 12-8 overall and 2-0 in the district.
Carnegie Vanguard was beaten by Houston Lamar in its last match, falling 20-25, 12-25 and 10-25 Sept. 8. Carnegie Vanguard is 6-4 overall and 1-1 in the district. Kaschouti Tidwell hammered 11 kills in the loss.
The Cardinals will play Chavez Friday, Sept. 14 and will play at Westbury Tuesday, Sept. 18. They will take on Lamar Friday, Sept. 21.
Carnegie Vanguard will play at Westside Friday, Sept. 14 and will take on Chavez on the road Tuesday, Sept. 18.
All matches will begin at 4:30 p.m.
