Gas prices in and around Bellaire were higher compared to the averages for Texas and Houston for the week of July 29, according to data from the price-tracking website gasbuddy.com.

Visitors to the gasbuddy.com website reported rates for four gas stations in and around Bellaire. As of Aug. 4, the average price of regular unleaded gas in Bellaire is $3.39 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com listed the Texas average at $3.38, Houston average at $3.38 and the nationwide average at $3.59.

The average gas price in Bellaire last week was $3.33 per gallon.

The least expensive gas price in Bellaire is reported to be $3.37 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas, which a gasbuddy.com contributor logged as being available at Valero, 4439 Bissonnet St.

Gasbuddy.com users reported the most expensive gas price in the area at $3.39, which was being sold at three gas stations.
