Nature Discovery Center to hold 'Park After Dark' walk
The Hana and Arthur Ginzbarg Nature Discovery Center will hold "Park After Dark" at 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 24 at the center, located at 7112 Newcastle St. in Bellaire.
Participants of all ages will learn about the animals that are out and about in Russ Pitman Park after the sun goes down. The program will include an introduction to the animals living there along with a guided exploration of the park.
Reservations are required, and the cost is $5 per person. Attendees should bring mosquito repellant and a flashlight.
