Aquatic center to show 'Jurassic Park' Aug. 9
Dinosaurs are coming to the big screen at Bellaire Town Square Family Aquatic Center.
The Hollywood blockbuster "Jurassic Park" will be shown as part of the Dive-In Movie Series on Thursday, Aug. 9. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.; the film starts at dusk.
Bellaire Parks and Recreation is presenting the event, which is a benefit that includes music and food.
Proceeds benefit Patrons for Bellaire Parks, a nonprofit group that advocates for the restoration and expansion of parks and natural areas.
Tickets cost $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Food is included. Tickets can be purchased at the door, online by visiting bellaireparks.org or at the Bellaire Recreation Center, located at 7008 Fifth St.
