Crosspoint Church offers fall youth basketball league

Crosspoint Church will open registration in September for the Upward Basketball League for youth.

The league is for first- through eighth-grade boys and first- through seventh-grade girls. A league for children with special needs will also be offered. This year will be also include an introduction to cheerleading for girls in kindergarten through fourth grade.

The league features non-competitive sport experiences for children that promote values and fundamentals over winning games, according to a press release. Wins and losses are not recorded. All participants receive equal playing time.

The league season will end with a large celebration, including a highlight video of the season, trophies and awards for everyone who participates. Entertainment will also be provided.

Crosspoint Church is located at 4601 Bellaire Blvd., in Bellaire.
