Houston Police investigating shooting at 11100 Albury Drive

The Houston Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred at 11100 Albury Drive at approximately 9 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, according to a report released on Thursday, July 12.

The victim, whose identity is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences, suffered multiple gunshot wounds before being transported to Ben Taub General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to the report.

"The victim was shot several times in the street at the above location, [and] witnesses told police they saw someone, described only as a black male, running from the scene," a report by HPD Homicide Division Sgt. R. Rodriguez and Senior Police Officer B. Oxspring stated.
