Presbyterians reject divestment, push for positive investment
The Presbytery USA general assembly passed a vote that was overwhelmingly approved to replace the divestment resolution with positive investment.
Presbyterian Church USA approved a blanket boycott of Israeli products produced in the West Bank, which the American Jewish Committee expressed disappointment in. Other churches have recently done the same by rejecting divestment resolutions, including the Methodist Church and the Evangelical Lutheran Church.
