CenterPoint Energy names new service area director for Bellaire

Chasta Martin is Bellaire’s new electric service area director.

Chasta Martin was recently named Bellaire service area director for CenterPoint Energy's electronic operations department.

According to a press release, Martin will be responsible for overseeing electric business operations in the Bellaire area and working to ensure the long-range success of the area's service centers.

Martin, who began working for CenterPoint in 1998,  served in the customer service department in Baytown and was a project manager in underground residential distribution in Greenspoint. Before being promoted, Martin was a service area manager for service centers in Bellaire and Greenspoint.

Martin received her master's degree in organizational management from the University of Phoenix and her bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Houston.
