Bellaire runners complete Run Wild 5K

Seventeen runners from Bellaire completed the Run Wild 5K on July 4 in Houston.

The Bellaire runners who participated in the race are Timothy Tirado, 16, (19:57); Kara Koinis, 20, (24:06); Margot Combs , 37, (24:28); Christina Tirado, 15, (24:38); Jim Brown, 65, (25:11); David Draper, 47, (25:54); Isabelle Draper, 14, (25:48); Susan Davis, 49, (26:32); Adrienne Draper, 46, (27:57); Austin Cooney, 51, (28:08); Julie Kuenstle, 43, (32:33); Cynthia Portugal, 45, (32:42); Emily Kuenstle, 10, (34:45); Theresa Drago, 62, (36:32); Sarah Portugal, 16, (41:04); Marymargaret Cooney, 9, (47:11); and Beth Nelson, 51, (47:12).

A total of 1,287 runners finished the 5K race, which was held in Uptown Park. The proceeds of the race will benefit Special Olympics Texas.

Sean Wade, of Houston, was the men’s overall winner with a time of 15:38, while Megan Siebert, of Dallas, was the women’s winner in 18:10.
