Bellaire Public Works to adjust water line on Jonathan Street
The Bellaire Public Works Department announced a water line adjustment will take place Tuesday, July 17, at the 4300 and 4400 blocks of Jonathan Street.
According to a press release, water service at the addresses will be turned off from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The release also stated that once the water is turned back on, residents should run their faucets until the water is clear and all the air has been pumped out of the water line.
To prepare for the adjustment, the Bellaire Public Works Department recommends storing water for use while the service is turned off. Water for flushing toilets can be stored in bathtubs, and water for other uses can be stored in a clean container.
Questions and concerns about the water line adjustment may be directed to Kimberly McNeil at 713-662-8170 during business hours and the Bellaire Police Department at 713-668-0487 all other times.
