Bellaire runners complete Polish Pickle 5K

Two runners from Bellaire completed the Polish Pickle 5K Run on June 23 in Bremond.

Christina Tirado, 15, completed the race in 22:37, and Timothy Tirado, 16, crossed the finish line in 22:48.

A total of 526 runners finished the 5K race, which started on Main Street in front of The Bremond Press.

Gustavo Roman Jr., of College Station, was the men’s overall winner with a time of 16:23, while Hannah Steffan, of Austin, was the women’s winner in 17:26.
