Ronald McDonald House offers summer camps for patients
The Ronald McDonald House in Houston will offer summer camps for patients and families staying at the organization.
Patients and their siblings can participate in the annual special summer camps at Ronald McDonald House locations at the Holcombe House, Texas Children's Hospital and Children's Memorial Hermann Hospital. Volunteers staff the camps.
The Houston Ronald McDonald House also encourages residents to save pull-tabs on soda cans to support the organization. The Pull Tab Program uses the funds generated by recycling those tabs to support operation expenses, including food, cleaning supplies and transportation for visiting families. Collected tabs from individuals or Houston-area businesses can be mailed to the Holcombe House at 1907 Holcombe Blvd. or dropped off at the front desk.
For more information on the Pull Tab Program or summer camps, contact the Holcombe House at 713-795-3500.
