City to pick up heavy trash June 27-28
The Meyerland Community Improvement Association and the City of West U are reminding residents that tree trash and other heavy trash items will be picked up Wednesday, June 27 and Thursday, June 28.
Sections to be collected on Wednesday are included in the boundaries of North Braeswood on the west side of South Rice to, and including, Beechnut and over to Chimney Rock. Section 10 is also part of Wednesday's collection, which is bordered by Hillcroft, Mullins, Birdwood and Darnell.
Thursday's heavy trash pickup will include sections in the boundaries of South Braeswood from the east of Chimney Rock to 610. The remaining sections include the boundaries of the east side of South Rice, from North Braeswood up to, and including, Beechnut and over to 610.
All items will be taken to the city dump. The tree trash picked up at this time will not be composted.
