City of West University offers 'Building Brains' day camp
Several sessions of the "Building Brains" day camp are scheduled throughout July and August for children age 3-5 and age 6-12.
The camps will teach children how to build simple machines with LEGOs, Duplo and K’NEX sets and increase motor skills and critical thinking.
The fee is $25 for residents and $235 for non-residents and the camp is held at the Scout House at 6108 Edloe. Campers should bring a snack and drink.
Camp dates for preschoolers, age 3-5, are 9 a.m. to noon July 16-20, July 30 to Aug. 3, Aug. 6-10 and Aug. 13-17. Dates for ages 6-12 are 1-4 p.m. July 9-12, July 16-20, July 23-27, July 30 to Aug. 3, Aug. 6-10 and Aug. 13-17.
