City of West University announces summer tennis camps
The City of West University is offering one- or two-week tennis camp sessions for children age 6-12 at Colonial Park Pool Tennis Courts, 4130 Byron St.
Camp will feature tennis instruction, drills, games, pool time, sand volleyball and more.
Campers can bring their own racquet or extras can be provided. Campers should also bring a hat, sunglasses, water, sunscreen, bathing suit, towel and a sack lunch.
Neil Harrison will lead the camp with help from staff.
Participants have the choice of attending a full-day or part-day session. Partial-day camp sessions will last from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Full-day camp sessions will last from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Camp weeks will be July 9-20, July 23 to Aug. 3 and Aug. 6-17.
Fees for a full -day session are $290 for residents and $310 for nonresidents. Part-day sessions will cost $220 for residents and $240 for nonresidents. For a one-week, partial-day session, the cost will be $125 for residents and $140 for nonresidents.
