Houston Community College to hold business procurement forum
The Greater Houston Business Procurement Forum will be held from 8-10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 26 in the first-floor auditorium of Houston Community College Southwest, located at 5601 W. Loop South.
Guest speakers and topics of discussion will be as follows:
Raynese Edwards, program advisor, will discuss how to do business with Houston Rapid Transit and Principle Partnering Group, as well as upcoming business opportunities.
Christopher E. Burton, director of purchasing and HUB coordinator, will talk about the current business climate and opportunities with University of Houston, such as the new Cougar Football Stadium and University Center.
Cynthia Booker, HUB technical assistance coordinator for the Gulf Coast, will discuss University of Texas Capital Improvement Projects in Galveston, such as the University of Texas Medical Branch Hurricane Ike Recovery Renovation Project.
Admission is $5 at the door.
