Jones School to host Health Care Speaker Series
Houston attorney Sheri Dacso will give a free public lecture on federal health care reform legislation at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, June 21 in McNair Hall on the Rice University campus in Houston.
The lecture, titled "The Supreme Court's Impact on Health Care Reform," is part of the Jones Graduate School of Business Health Care Speaker Series.
Dacso, a partner at Seyfarth Shaw, will focus on the changes in the Houston market as a result of these reforms. She will also discuss the pending health care reform decision of the U.S. Supreme Court and how it will affect the relationship between physicians and hospitals, regardless of the outcome.
The Health Care Speaker Series aims to educate the Houston community regarding recent and relevant health care developments. Experts on a variety of topics will share insights that everyone can understand, according to a press release.
