Weekley YMCA day camp in full swing

Children ages 5-11 can participate in a host of activities at the Weekley YMCA day camp running through Aug. 17.

A day camp is being offered from 7 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday now through Aug. 17 at the Weekley Family YMCA, located at 7101 Stella Link in Houston.

The camp will provide children ages 5-11 with supervised activities that teach values, conflict resolution and leadership skills. There will also be games, arts and crafts, swimming, field trips and more.

Cost is $160 per week for facility members and $190 per week for program members.

Karate lessons will also be available during camp on Mondays and Wednesdays for ages 5-7 and on Tuesdays and Thursdays for ages 8-11. Fees are $60 per month for facility members and $75 per month for program members.

Financial aid is available to those who qualify.
