Mary Richter was a real estate agent. Before becoming a realtor, she worked as a teacher in Houston area schools for 23 years. She also worked at Texas Company.
She earned a bachelor's degree in education at the University of Houston and a master's degree at Stephen F. Austin University.
Herbert Richter worked as an advertising artist for Sakowitz and Battlestein's Department Stores and for the Houston Chronicle.
The Richters passed away in September 2010.
