Project engineer buys 4BD home in Meyerland
Davia Gernand and Christopher Lindsey bought a four-bedroom, 2.5-bath home at 5422 Yarwell Drive in Meyerland from Dr. Sarah J. Marlin Swartz and Hershel Swartz on March 1.
The 2,466-square-foot house, built in 1959, is in the Marilyn Estates subdivision. It is valued at $245,040.
Gernand is a project engineer at TAS, a power generation, heating and colling systems and industrial services company. Previously, he was an assistant project manager and mechanical designer at DBR Consultants Engineering Inc. and a mechanical designer at I.A. Naman.
He received a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Texas Tech University.
Dr. Marlin Swartz is a pediatric nephrologist at Texas Children's Clinical Care Center. She is also an assistant professor of pediatrics.
She received her M.D. from Baylor College of Medicine and completed an internship, residency and fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine.
According to BlockShopper.com, there have been 248 home sales in Meyerland during the past 12 months, with a median sales price of $297,500.
