Richmond Avenue construction update
Construction to improve drainage along Richmond Avenue between Kirby and Buffalo Speedway continued this week.
The work on Richmond Avenue will eventually connect to Kirby's drainage system, but the process will probably take four or five weeks, so motorists can expect traffic conditions to stay the same for at least that long.
Also, crews did some demolition work south of Richmond Avenue on Eastside Street. Storm sewers will be installed here as well as during the next several weeks. Two-way traffic will be possible during this time, but motorists are asked to make plenty of room for vehicles coming in the opposite direction as they pass the construction site. Also, there will be no on-street parking in the construction zone.
