Houston Zoo to celebrate World Oceans Day
The Houston Zoo, 6200 Hermann Park Drive, Houston, is celebrating World Oceans Day on June 9.
Readings of the Dr. Seuss book One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish will take place at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on the Butterfly Stage.
Special "Meet the Keeper Talks" are also scheduled in the Kipp Aquarium from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Children will also be able to make a special craft to take home.
All activities are free with paid zoo admission.
