Gas prices in and around Bellaire were higher compared with the averages for Texas and Houston this week, according to data from the price-tracking website gasbuddy.com.
Visitors to the gasbuddy.com website reported rates for three gas stations in and around Bellaire. As of Saturday, May 19, the average price of regular unleaded gas in Bellaire is $3.650 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com listed the Texas average at $3.503, Houston average at $3.570, and the nationwide average at $3.704.
The least expensive gas price in Bellaire is reported to be $3.63 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas, which a gasbuddy.com contributor logged as being available at Valero, 4439 Bissonnet St. and Newcastle Street.
A gasbuddy.com user reported the most expensive gas price in the area at $3.67, which was being sold at Texaco, 6512 S. Rice Blvd. and Bissonnet Street.
