Bellaire physicians named in wrongful death suit
A family is suing over claims the negligence of Bellaire physicians, and others, caused the death of a loved one.
Essah-Mensah Fordjour and Andrea Henderson, on behalf of the deceased Gloria Fordjour, filed a wrongful death lawsuit on Thursday, May 17 in the Harris County District Court against Dr. Geri-Lynn Fromm; Sarah Fleishman, of Bellaire; Gynecologic Oncology of Houston; Dr. Frank Mahzari; and Kelsey Seybold Medical Group.
The plaintiffs say on March 11, 2010, Gloria Fordjour died after a March 3, 2010, surgery performed by Fromm. The defendants' failure to diagnose and to treat an infection caused her untimely death, according to the brief.
The plaintiffs are seeking damages and court costs. They are being represented in the case by Houston attorney Christopher Bradshaw-Hull.
