Bellaire alum not enough in Oklahoma State U loss
Kat Espinosa, a 2009 graduate of Bellaire High School, allowed five runs in six innings, taking the loss as Missouri downed Oklahoma State University 5-3 in women's college softball action on Saturday.
In high school, Espinosa was selected to the state of Texas All-Star team, All-Greater Houston First-Team and also the All-District First-Team. She was was named All-Greater Houston Pitcher of the Year and District MVP, both in 2008 and 2009.
Espinosa also played summer ball for Texas Eclipse Gold for coach Ken Glass.
She is the daughter of Armando and Denice Espinosa.
